how wedding announcement projects work:

Step 1: Tell Me about your vision

Email me with details about your wedding: date, style (formal/casual), number of bridal party members, and what kind of energy you're looking for. Are you envisioning elegant sophistication or party energy?

Step 2: script collaboration

If you already have your script written, send it to me…if you’re not sure, I'll help you structure your announcements. You'll need:

- Full names (and preferred pronunciations)
- Titles/relationships (bridesmaid, best man, parents, etc.)
- Any special notes you want included ("John has been the groom's best friend since kindergarten...")
- Order of introductions

Step 3: review and recording

Once we finalize the script, I'll record all your announcements. You'll get a chance to review and request any adjustments (pronunciation, pacing, energy level).

Step 4: final delivery

I'll deliver your announcements either as individual files (one per person/moment) or as a complete sequence. Your DJ or venue coordinator can easily integrate them into your reception timeline.

Why should I choose you over other voiceover artists?

Ever notice that most “sports announcers” in movies and commercials don’t sound very good? That’s because they usually aren’t actual sports broadcasters. They’re actors who are trying to pretend.

I’m different, because I’ve been doing the real thing for over a decade. I’ve called baseball, basketball, hockey, soccer, football, volleyball, softball, and I’ve done it on TV and radio. When you hire me, you're getting authentic broadcast energy…not an actor trying to imitate what they think an announcer sounds like. My voice was featured in Budweiser's Jackie Robinson 100th Birthday tribute, and the New York Times has profiled my broadcasting work.

I’m also versatile. I love doing all kinds of announcer-voices, and people love my work.

how far in advance should we book?

I recommend booking at least 2-4 weeks before your wedding. This gives us time to collaborate on the script, review pronunciations, make revisions, and ensure everything is perfect. Rush services are available if your wedding is sooner.

what if we need to add or change names last-minute?

Life happens! Bridal parties change. I offer reasonable flexibility for last-minute changes. There be small charges for last-minute rush changes, but I do my best to be as helpful as possible.

Do you provide music or sound effects?

If you provide music beds/tracks, I can combine them with the announcements! I’ll need to charge extra for that, but it’s definitely doable.

What file formats do you deliver?

I deliver high-quality WAV files (broadcast standard) and MP3 files (for easy sharing and web use). If you need a specific format for your venue's sound system or video editor, just let me know—I can accommodate most format requests.

can you record announcements in different languages?

I primarily work in English, but if you have bilingual announcements with phonetic guidance, I can incorporate non-English phrases. I also am conversational in Spanish, so I’m comfortable reading short Spanish scripts. For fully bilingual weddings, though, I recommend working with a native speaker for authenticity.

how do we get the files to our dj/venue?

I can deliver files via email or Google Drive in MP3 format (compatible with any sound system). Each announcement will be a separate file clearly labeled (e.g., "01_Bridesmaid_Sarah.mp3") for easy playback.

can we use the announcements for our wedding video?

Yes! Wedding packages include usage rights for your personal wedding video and memories. If you're creating content for commercial purposes (wedding videographer portfolio, etc.), we can discuss extended licensing.

Where are you located? Do you work with clients outside your area?

I'm based in Florida but work with clients nationwide and internationally. All of my voiceover work is done remotely from my professional home studio. Whether you're planning a wedding in California, Texas, or New York, I can deliver high-quality announcer voiceovers digitally.
